Our family was driven by the storms of history to this region, where the Great Plain meets the Transdanubian hills, to the ancient vineyards of Sárköz and Decs. The farmhouse, built in 1927, stood in ruins for a long 24 years, waiting for it to regain its former character and beauty sometime, until it was finally restored in 2002 and at the same time laid the foundation for the construction of the Takler Wine Estate. It currently functions as a residence for our family.

In 2003, the part of the building that still operates as a wine processing facility was added, and in 2007 we have finished the construction with the final wing including the bottling area, office level, tasting room and the Guesthouse rooms. In 2012, we purchased the neighboring farmhouse built in 1892, which we named „Swallow Farm”. This characteristic veranda building takes us back to the life of 19th century Sárköz. We rebuilt it in its original style to preserve the memory of the past for the future as a country house.

Our big dream came true when we were able to open the Takler Mansion in the spring of 2015. The respect, sophistication and richness of detail of the last century are combined with the possibilities of today in this magnificent building, which, due to its excellent features, provides a magnificent view of the colorful countryside of Sárköz.

The classic, noble lines create a wonderful harmony with the rustic style features that show prestige and pride, including Gothic, which is the main style feature of our restaurant.

Spacious spaces, custom-made coverings and sophisticated furnishings make the hotel really intimate, which mostly praises Otto Hoffer's ideas and sophistication.

Rooms of the Takler Mansion are differ from the typical hotel rooms you got used to. All of the top floor rooms were named after one of our prominent wines and the colours of the rooms are matching that particular wine's label's design and colours.The mansard rooms' designs are also rustic and stylish, matching the milieu of our Mansion. On this floor you can find our one and only Executive Room with a double Jacuzzi hydromassage tub which is separated from the sleeping area with a glass wall and door.

Every room has its on shower and toilet, A/C, free WI-FI, LCD television, telephone, towels and bathrobes, electric kettle-coffee-tea-mineral waters, and the use of the wellness is included in every room price! To provide you the most relaxing sleep, all of the rooms

have quality CARDO matrasses with a height of 23 and 25 centimeters.

All our rooms are air-conditioned, our guests can get a comfortable sleep with our quality - 23 cm high CARDO mattresses. In the recently handed over wellness area, every little element also fits into the atmosphere of the existing buildings.

The rooms of the Guesthouse await their guests with a slightly more modern style, but with the same comfort. Indulge in this aristocratic atmosphere and the romance of the countryside!

Our A’la Carte restaurant was uniquely designed with special demands and named “PRIMARIUS” after one of our iconic wines! The restaurant awaits its guests with traditional tastes, but at the same time the menu is always creative and constantly renewed. Of course, the guests can taste all of the wines, from standard to vintage, made by the Takler family.
